Tanner Sparks grew up in rural East Texas, where he fell in love with country music through his grandfather’s record collection of Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and George Jones. Coming from a family of musicians, Tanner naturally followed in their footsteps—writing songs and performing more than 100 shows a year across Texas and beyond.

Branding his sound as “Old Fashioned Country Music,” Tanner draws inspiration from the golden eras of the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s. He has released an EP, two studio albums, and a string of singles that showcase his heartfelt lyrics and authentic Texas country style. In 2019, he was honored with the New Emerging Artist Award at the Texas Country Music Awards, solidifying his place as a rising star in the scene.
