Ally Venable — Texas blues-rock singer, songwriter, and guitarist extraordinaire — brings fire to every stage she touches. Known for her signature glitter dresses and black knee-high boots, Ally commands attention, dazzling festival crowds and tour audiences alike. As Guitar Player Magazine raved: “Venable pulls off a stunner of gritty and/or sultry blues rock tunes embellished with lots of tasty guitar solos.”

A proud Kilgore, Texas native, Ally began singing in church at age four and picked up the guitar at 12. By 13, she had formed her own band, channeling the influence of Stevie Ray Vaughan into a passion for the blues. Early releases No Glass Shoes (2016) and Puppet Show (2018) built her fanbase, won East Texas Music Awards, and charted on radio. But it was 2019’s Texas Honey — reaching #2 on the Billboard Blues Chart — and her breakout performances on Ruf’s European Blues Caravan that launched Ally into the international spotlight. As Mike Zito put it: “Ally is the future of blues and the crossover music of American roots-rock.”

Even during the pandemic, Ally kept pushing forward. Her 2021 album Heart of Fire once again charted on Billboard, blending raw honesty with themes of resilience. Guitar hero Kenny Wayne Shepherd joined her on the powerful track “Bring on the Pain”, a song that lit up XM Bluesville charts. “On this album, I really wanted to create a tone of overcoming your struggles and persevering through them,” Ally explains.

Her achievements continue stacking up: Guitar World named her #2 on the “Top 15 Young Guns Making the Gibson Les Paul Cool Again”, and she earned the Road Warrior Award from the Independent Blues Music Awards. Her band has supported Buddy Guy, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and Colin James across North America, while she’s also performed on the star-studded Experience Hendrix Tour at ACL Live in Austin, Texas.

In spring 2023, Ally dropped her most powerful release yet, produced by Grammy-winner Tom Hambridge. The album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Charts and features a duet with the iconic Buddy Guy and a fiery collaboration with Joe Bonamassa. It has remained in the Billboard Blues Top 100 since its release — a testament to Ally’s unstoppable rise.

With her soulful vocals, commanding guitar, and fearless energy, Ally Venable is more than a rising star — she’s a leading force shaping the future of modern blues-rock.
