Austin Allsup

Austin Allsup was born in Ft. Worth, Texas, and has long been a fixture in the Texas music scene. Most recently known for his breakout success on NBC’s The Voice (Season 11), Austin showcased his powerful artistry to millions of viewers across America. As a member of Team Blake, he walked the line between country outlaw and renegade rock ’n’ roller, winning over fans with raw passion and authenticity.
Before his national spotlight, Austin had already earned a reputation as a gritty folk-rocker with a thirst for originality. He released his debut full-length album Intensity in 2005, followed by Cryin’ Out Loud (2009), Sink or Swim (2011), and This Weary Land (2016). He continues to write, record, and perform with the same honesty and fire that have defined his career from the start.
Industry voices have taken note:
- “Austin is a guy that can be popular in mainstream radio, but still be credible with outlaw country artists.” – Blake Shelton
- “The boy can flat out sing. He follows no trail, but blazes his own.” – Justin Frazell, Texas Country DJ of the Year
- “Gritty country-rocker with unique vocals and a powerful range.” – Taste of Country
With a voice that’s both authentic and unforgettable, Austin Allsup continues to blaze his own trail as one of Texas’s most compelling singer-songwriters.
